The category names below come from the supplied public examples. The complete trait pool and exact effects still require release-build testing.

What kinds of traits are publicly named?

The supplied official examples group character information into Archetype, Talent, Training, Personality, and Fear or Flaw. The names are useful evidence of the system vocabulary, but they do not prove that the examples are the complete pool or that every label has the same effect in every encounter.

CategoryPublic examples
ArchetypeMastermind, Demonologist
TalentAnimal Whisperer, Intuitive
TrainingCombat Trained, Literate, Hunter, Warrior
PersonalityCharismatic, Resolute, Bloodthirsty, Irreverent, Learned
Fear or FlawFear of Water, Fear of Darkness, Arachnophobic, Callous, Empathetic

See archetypes and talents and training for grouped records.

How can traits affect an encounter?

The public encounter explanation says players choose a leader and use party skills to advance through situations. It also describes actions drawn from hero and team information. This supports recording a trait as a possible action source, but the exact mapping from each trait to each situation must be tested.

Do not label a trait “best” from its name alone. Link a claim to an encounter screenshot, video timestamp, or repeated result in the encounter bags and actions page.

What is still unknown?

The complete list, numeric values, stacking rules, conflicts, dialogue effects, and ending effects are not published. The trait interactions page should remain an evidence log until the public build supports repeatable tests.
