Thousand Hells Ending Verification Plan for Release
Use a repeatable save, screenshot, and party-state method to verify Thousand Hells routes, ending conditions, and branching outcomes after launch.
This is a testing method, not a claim that any ending condition has already been verified.
How should an ending route be tested?
Use one baseline run and change one variable per comparison. Record the quest, underworld, party, leader, visible traits, encounter choices, physical and mental state, objective result, exit choice, and final outcome. Keep screenshots or video timestamps for every decisive screen.
The ending conditions page is the shared checklist, while character injuries records party-state variables.
What is the recommended route diagram?
Use this structure only as a record template; it is not a confirmed game sequence:
Quest begins
↓
Party selection
↓
Underworld entry
↓
Encounter sequence
├─ success branch
└─ failure branch
↓
Key choice
↓
Objective
↓
Exit attempt
├─ outcome A
├─ outcome B
└─ failure outcome
Compare each encounter with encounter consequences rather than recording only the final label.
When can a condition be promoted?
Use player-reported for one unsupported report, player-tested after repeated controlled runs with evidence, and confirmed only when official material or consistent release-build testing supports the exact claim. Keep pre-release clues marked pre-release.
